Last week we hosted Kindergarten parents to a “Boo Hoo Woo Hoo” breakfast to meet and mingle and learn all about what a day in the life of a kindergartener looks like at Brookwood Elementary! Special thanks to vendors within our local community who supported us by donating food to make our celebration fun AND tasty! Crazy Cakes Bakery/Tybrisa Ave Creations donated the super cute and delicious emoji cookies, Dutch Monkey Doughnuts donated the incredibly pretty and tasty donuts, and Starbucks Brookwood and Peachtree Pkwy did a BOGO on our coffee!
Later that afternoon our teachers enjoyed a little pick-me-up for surviving the first day of school! Thanks to Publix Super Market at The Village at Flynn Crossing for donating the cookies and to Zoës Kitchen for the refreshing snacks of hummus, pitas, veggies, and lemonade! After the craziness of the first day of school our teachers definitely enjoyed the afternoon treat!
We are so thankful for the businesses in our community who help us love on our students, parents, and staff! We couldn’t do it without you: THANK YOU! If you own a business or are responsible for managing one and think your company may be able to assist by doing things like this, please reach out to one of our Co-Directors of Hospitality!
